Mastercard Cube

At the Mastercard pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, we crafted a mixed reality audiovisual spectacle to help tell Mastercard’s story and deliver their vision of the future. The Mastercard Cube offered a number of multi-sensory experiences and the opportunity for guests to embark on journeys within sport, food, music and on how corporations can be a force for good.

On the cube’s huge exterior LED walls, we created eight stunning CGI particle animations to command attention from passers-by and to help provide a glimpse on the themes that users’ could continue exploring once inside the cube.

Once inside, visitors were fully immersed in an audiovisual spectacle where LED panels wrapped the entire room, creating a seamless, cinematic environment. Using Microsoft’s HoloLens, guests could then choose to embark on unique interactive passion-driven journeys, ranging from an electrifying stadium experience with Messi to a concert with Camila Cabello. This cutting-edge technology allowed them to bring the next era of innovation to life around them and explore Mastercard's vision of the future in a truly personalised way.

As the lead interactive content producer on the project I was responsible for overseeing the production of all animation content and the mixed reality experiences for the interior of the cube.
